about
After winning best sci-fi music video at the 2021 California Music Video Awards for their single, “Red Light”, alt-pop duo Noël & Jeremy are following up with a cyber wonderland experience in “Psychic Bitch”, a new single and music video that was shot and directed by the band’s vocalist Noël. The short film immerses the viewer in a cyberpunk virtual world, switching from first person shooter video game perspectives, to artfully crafted stop motion animation with a robot miniature. The story is about choosing to use one’s mind and intuition rather than physical violence to defeat toxic obstacles. “Psychic Bitch” is an empowering stand-alone single and transition piece between the darker subject matter of the duo’s debut album, “Elementals”, to the esoteric enlightenment on Noël & Jeremy’s upcoming second album. lyrics
I really don't have time, to mess with all your lies...nononononononah
You hit a wall cause you keep playing these games
you had your chance but you keep doing the same
it's sad to think that you ain't ever gonna change
you're acting up but shawty, nobody watching
what you're lacking in love, you make up with deception
and you're playing this part, I just wanted to mention
yeah I'm just saying cause you thought I was dumb
but honey baby, no, you forgot
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't play games with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I know your lying I'm a psychic bitch
You keep on talking trying to prove that you're right
and everybody knows you're wasting your time
With all the money that you spent on your lies
you could have been working on yourself so goodbye
close my eyes, yeah I'm feeling what you do
when you grab, the knife behind my back
It's best you go and you never return
cause I keep on leveling up,
what?
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't keep playing with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I know your lying I'm a psychic bitch
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
I'm a psychic bitch
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
a psychic bitch
I really don't have time, to mess with all your lies...
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't play games with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I know your lying I'm a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't play games with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I know your lying I'm a psychic bitch
Why you sad? what a shame, did you not get your way?
tried to gaslight my game, I know all your moves
that classic textbook sh*t, and I'm just flipping through the pages laughing at all it
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't play games with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I know your lying I'm a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, you can't play games with a psychic bitch
no no no no no don't tell me lies, I read your mind I'm a psychic bitch
